Modern Whimsy will do all the heavy lifting - literally. We will deliver and set up your picnic at the location of your choice, including table, rugs, pillows and blankets, decorations, and more (see packages for the full list of everything included in the standard picnic). Additional add-ons are available!
Standard packages allow you to experience your picnic set up for two hours. Additional time is available upon request.
Once you are finished with your picnic, we have you covered! Modern Whimsy will be back to clean and pick everything up. You don't have to worry about a thing!
The standard picnic packages include: table, rug, pillows and blankets, table runner, table decorations, flowers, serving tray, place setting for each guest (water glass, wine or champagne glass, plate stack, silverware, linen napkin), place card personalized for each guest, signage for your special occasion and wine opener.

The standard picnic length is two hours. If you would like to add additional time, you certainly can! Each additional hour is $45 dollars.
We ask that you give us at least 72 hours notice to make sure we can create the most magnificent picnic possible! If your desired date is within 72 hours, still send us a request and we will do our best to make it happen.
Life happens, and we totally understand! Your picnic is always transferrable to a new date or location at no charge. If you have to cancel your picnic, here is our policy:
72 hours notice: full refund less the booking deposit
Less than 72 hours notice: 50% refund
No show: Full charge
Modern Whimsy Luxury Picnics does not currently offer full food or drink packages for our picnics. However we do have add-on options, such as charcuterie boards, sweets & tea. You are welcome to have food and drinks delivered to the picnic spot, or bring anything you would like with you!

Modern Whimsy Luxury Picnics does not provide alcohol as part of our packages. However, if the location you choose allows alcohol, you are welcome to bring your own! Please check the guidelines of the location you choose.
Yes! We love furry friends. As long as pets are allowed at the location you choose, we welcome pets. We also have a pet package you can add-on to your picnic with some treats for your pup!
Modern Whimsy can deliver and set-up picnics in the DFW metroplex, specifically Bedford, Hurst, Euless, NRH, Colleyville, Southlake, Grapevine & Keller. Any picnic locations outside these areas will be charged a travel fee. Most public parks and nature centers are perfect for a picnic. We can also set-up in your front or backyard, or inside if the space allows.
We ask that picnic locations be no further than 50 yards from vehicle access. Additional charges may apply for certain locations.
When the weather turns cold, we can even set-up your picnic inside your home or business!
We know that Texas weather can vary from day to day. If your picnic date arrives and the weather is poor, you have a few options. We can always move your picnic set-up indoors to your home, garage, or office. If you want to move your picnic to another date, your payment will be fully transferrable. If you choose to cancel, there will be a 50% charge.
Clean up is part of the picnic package. If damage occurs to any of the equipment or anything is missing, additional fees may apply.
